Parents and educators are often in doubt regarding the most suitable educational framework for children with language impairment. Occasionally, a framework that is suitable in educational academic terms is not suitable in social terms or occasionally the framework itself is not capable to deal with the difficulties of a child. In integration chapter of the Special Education Law, legislated in 2002 in Israel, it has been set that a child with special needs who studies in a regular educational institution would be entitled to “additional teaching as well as special services”. |
