Circa 60 specii native din familia Lamiaceae ce conţin o largă varietate de compuşi chimici cu înaltă valoare terapeutică au fost evidenţiate în urma studiului bibliografic. Cercetările au condus spre identificarea celor mai importante şi frecvent utilizate plante din familia Lamiaceae, care cresc spontan în flora locală.

n the flora of the Republic of Moldova, the Lamiaceae family is represented by 28 genera and 82 species. Based on literature studies, around 60 native species belonging to this family contain a wide variety of chemical compounds of high therapeutic value. The research allowed identifying the most important and commonly used plants in the Lamiaceae family naturally growing in the Republic of Moldova.
