The investigated theme concerns the opinions of the theorcticians towards the notions of responsibility and liability. Sometimes the term „liability“ is confused with the notion of „responsibility“. Some authors consider that liability is o form of responsibility. în the present investigation there are related opinions towards these notions, definitions of the terms „responsibility“ and „juridical liability“ are also given. The author has come to the conclusion that the terms have different meanings and that their acceptation and usage should be different too.

Tema investigată se referă la opinii ale teoreticienilor faţă de noţiunile de responsabilitate şi răspundere. Uneori, termenul de „răspundere“ este confundată cu noţiunea de „responsabilitate“. Unii autori consideră că răspunderea este o formă de responsabilitate. În cadrul prezentei investigaţii sunt prezentate opinii legate de aceste noţiuni, şi sunt de asemenea date definiţii ale termenilor „responsabilitate“ şi „răspundere juridică“. Autorul a ajuns la concluzia că termenii au sensuri diferite şi că acceptarea şi utilizarea lor trebuie să fie diferite.
