Literature represents a form of artistic creation. Literature of any nation is composed of two parts: written literature and folk literature. The purpose of it is to rise in the reader sentiments, make him experience certain feelings. From the tresures our folclore there will be collected precious information about our old times, about our ancestors’ way of being and thinking. Folklore has been a special source of inspiration for the writers of all times, among which we’ll point out D. Bolintineanu, G. Coșbuc, D. Matcovschi, H. Dabija, G. Vieru. In the literary creation of the above mentioned maestros of the word the human values are treated in the light of the sentiment of patriotism, love for the native homelands, interest about our nation’s glorious past.
