Prezentul articol evidențiază unele aspecte didactice privind studierea temei Funcția exponențială, predată folosind metoda descoperirii. În studiul matematicii la nivel liceal se urmărește formarea competențelor specifice, iar metoda descoperii este una dintre metodele care contribuie eficient la realizarea acestui aspect. Articolul prezintă exemple luate din viața reală ce pot fi folosite pentru predarea la clasă în cadrul lecției Funcția exponențială. Considerăm că prin aplicarea metodei descoperirii și utilizarea unor exemple din viața reală se realizează majorarea motivării studiului matematicii la nivelul liceal și formarea eficientă a competențelor specifice disciplinei Matematica în liceu.

The current article highlights some didactic aspects regarding the study of the topic The Exponential Function, taught using the discovery method. In the study of mathematics at the high school level, the training of specific skills is aimed at, and the discovery method is one of the methods that effectively contributes to this aspect. The article presents examples taken from real life that can be used for teaching in the class within the Exponential Function lesson. We believe that by applying the discovery method and using examples from real life, it is possible to increase the motivation of the study of mathematics at the high school level and to effectively train the specific skills of the Mathematics discipline in high school.
