Rezumat

eTwinning is the most exciting educational community in Europe, offering a platform for communication, collaboration, starting projects and exchanging information to teaching staff of participating countries. eTwinning promotes school collaboration in Europe through information and communication technologies (ICT), providing support, work tools and services to schools [3]. The essence of eTwinning is the collaborative projects carried out by at least two schools. Projects can have any theme, but must demonstrate a balance between the use of ICT and teaching activities and preferably integrate into the national curriculum of the participating schools. Exemplary projects receive national and European quality certificates. As a result, participating in eTwinning projects leads to improvement of interdisciplinary skills, communication in foreign language and project-based skills in both teachers and students. Starting 2023, eTwinning is part of the European School Education Platform, accessible at the address https://school-education.ec.europa.eu/en/etwinning . Any teacher, librarian, headmaster working in a school from an eTwinning country can join the platform with an EU account and find other eTwinners, set up projects, communicate and network with their peers [1].
