Introduction: The system has an RFID scanner that reads RFID tags on ID cards or wristbands worn by patients to gather data, which it then sends to a web application. The online programmer analyses the data, gives medical practitioners up-to-date patient health information. Aim: Healthcare practitioners may access patient data remotely using the web application component, which offers a safe, convenient platform. Improvements in patient outcomes, increased healthcare efficiency, and cost savings are all advantages of the system. Method: This abstract introduces a system combining Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) technology with a web application, creating a seamless platform for patient monitoring and data analysis. The system incorporates an RFID scanner that reads unique tags on ID cards or wristbands worn by patients. These tags facilitate the collection of patient data, which is then seamlessly transmitted to a web application. Findings: The positive impact of cutting-edge healthcare technology is threefold. It leads to improvements in patient outcomes, as healthcare practitioners have access to up-to-date information to make informed decisions. Also, it enhances healthcare efficiency, streamlining the monitoring process, freeing up resources. Originality and value: It brings about cost savings, making healthcare institutions more effective, sustainable. The integration of RFID technology and web-based communication in patient monitoring is poised to revolutionize healthcare. By empowering healthcare institutions to improve patient care, efficiency, and financial sustainability, this system represents a significant stride toward the future of healthcare. |
