This article gives an account of conditions, political situation and the premises that led to the emergence and establishment of these two international organizations. It informs about their goals and principles which were at the basis of their statutory regulations. We have also shown which the weaknesses of the League of Nations were and why this organization failed. The second part of the article describes the causes of the UN emergence, the international situation and the political basis of its establishment. We have analyzed the course of the main events that have preceded signing of the UN Charter on June 26, 1945. |
