This study investigates the metamorphoses of the politics of memory promoted by the power structures of the Republic of Moldova (1991-2009). The author states the importance of equidistant evaluation of the Soviet past for the reconciliation process of societies,
traumatised by the experience of the Second World War, and elaboration of new politics of memory, articulated to the offi cial strategies of the European integration of the Republic of Moldova. |
