The article reveals the problem of the formation of intercultural competence of students of pedagogical specialties at the theoretical and methodological level in conjunction with the dynamics of globalization world processes. Expanding cultural and professional contacts with the orientation of modern society towards the approval of a competence-based approach to education and intercultural interaction actualize the society's need for a competitive teacher, prepared to work in a multicultural educational environment.
