Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic disease of the central nervous system characterized by episodes of inflammation and focal demyelination. MS is a neurological disorder that particularly affects women of childbearing age. This study aims to analyze the particularities of the evolution of pregnancy among women diagnosed with MS, as well as the influence of pregnancy on disease activity and the risk of postpartum relapses. The research highlighted the stationary trend of the evolution of the pathology during the gestation and postpartum period, argued by the improvement of health indices, a fact that gives women hope for a favorable pregnancy. |
