The right to private life is a fundamental right and is also applicable to labour relationships. It cannot be assumed that the person would give up his private life when he is at work. Like any fundamental right, the right to private life enjoys legal protection, and taking into account the specifics of employment relationships, protection mechanisms may be specific to employment relationships, such as labor jurisdiction or other mechanisms provided by law, like civil, criminal, or administrative. In other words, the nature of the violation of the right determines the choice of protection mechanisms, which can be combined, taking into account the specifics of each case. |
