In a genuine democracy, achieving the family, professional and social integration of young people with disabilities, promoting a coherent and consistent social policy adjusted to social conditions and European standards in the field, represents an enormous priority for each rule of law. Thanks to the involvement of civil society and social partnership, the situation has improved, focusing on the deinstitutionalization of young people with disabilities and the creation of optimal conditions for young people with disabilities and family to ensure a necessary minimum of subsistence. The good practices of other states that have accepted the equalization of the chances of young people with disabilities are also felt in the Republic of Moldova through the implementation of government policies, encouraging a positive image design of young people with disabilities. Violation of the right of young people with disabilities to family, professional and social integration is a primary problem that needs to be solved in limited time. Often this problem lies not in the physical or mental deficiency of young people with disabilities, but in the barriers and disability that arise when they interact with society. Our goal is to analyze policies on equal opportunities for young people with disabilities, as well as mechanisms to ensure their social inclusion in the areas of life and work without discrimination. |
