We can state that on “the map of Romanianism”, at Chișinău, around Mr. Alexandru Bantoș and his colleagues (that is, the editorial board and team of the journal “Limba Română”), there still survives a hard core, a special region which preserves the genuine Romanianism. There is a place in which the Romanian language is still worshiped and considered “the essential attribute of the national identity”, a place where Eminescu has absolute value as a symbol, a place where Steven the Great’s name (Ștefan cel Mare) is respectfully uttered. In order to better render my ideas and to more vividly prove the importance of the aforementioned Romanianism, I will use some analogies and facts taken from linguistics and literature.
