The article deals with the problems teachers face when teaching the state language to pupils and students. The main idea lies in the necessity to prepare young generation for integrating into the chosen profession and social life. To solve this problem it is necessary to create an enabling environment, to apply new teaching methods and approaches. Use of audio and video increases learners’ keen interest to the state language and people’s culture.Another problem is the ability to translate. Word for word translation is often done what misrepresents the sense of the text. That is why target language learners should manage rules of the Romanian language. Modern society always finds ways to solve rising problems and the most important thing is to realize that it is high time to change ourselves.
