Background. Astigmatism remains a current problem for active lifestyle patients, so refractive lens surgery is an eligible treatment option. Objective of the study. Evaluation of the use of refractive surgery of the lens with the implantation of thoric IOL (thoric intraocular lens) in the correction of astigmatism. Material and Methods. This study presents a review of clinical cases of patients receiving thoric crystals with various degrees of astigmatism operated in Ovisus MC in the last 6 months. ECE (extracapsular cataract extraction) was performed by phacoemulsification/phacoaspiration with Alcon SN6ATX thoric IOL implantation. Results. Early and late postoperative refraction was achieved without complications. Conclusions. Preoperative pseudofacial techniques are effective in achieving adequate postoperative refraction in patients with pre-existing astigmatism. Introducere. Astigmatismul rămâne o problemă actuală a pacienților cu vârsta activă, astfel chirurgia refractivă a cristalinului reprezintă o opțiune eligibilă de tratament. Scopul lucrării. Evaluarea utilizării chirurgiei refractive a cristalinului cu implantare de PF toric în corecția astigmatismului. Material și Metode. Lucrarea prezintă un review de cazuri clinice a pacienților beneficiari de cristaline torice cu divers grad de astigmatism operați în CM ,,Ovisus” în ultimele 6 luni. A fost efectuată EEC prin facoemulsificare/facoaspirare cu implantarea IOL toric Acon SN6ATX. Rezultate. S-a atins refracția postoperatorie precoce și tardivă fără complicații. Concluzii. Implantarea cristalinului toric este o metodă eficientă de corecție a astigmatismului clinic manifest.
