This article addresses issues related to the concept of team, defining organizational change, identifying the characteristics of the effective team, approaching the strengthening of cohesion, organizational change, the importance of the manager in the process of change, and new trends in improving activity in public administration. The concepts of group and team are not synonymous. A group can only be considered a team if its members help each other to meet the goals of the organization in which they operate. Managers need to ensure acceptance of cohesion issues within the teams that change brings, so it is important to choose the managerial level through which change will be promoted, so that it is accepted and applied. Refusal of dynamism or denial of the need for change can lead to stagnation of the organization’s efficiency and its subsequent activity. The efficiency and effectiveness of the services provided within the Public Administration is directly correlated with the efficient use of its staff. In order to obtain the performance and quality of the services provided by the employees of the Public Administration, as well as to maintain, motivate and satisfy them at their workplace, it is necessary to improve the motivation system corresponding to the work performed by each one. |
