Rezumat

tudying the organizational culture of public administration is an imperative goal of the time, due to the changes and reforms that are taking place in this sector with the modernization of the public sector and by connecting it to European values. It is important to always strive for change, to eliminate shortcomings and to implement innovative strategies. The analysis of organizational culture is an activity more and more common in specialized theory and practice, as a basis for identifying important sources that lead to explaining the strengths or weaknesses of the organization and modeling organizational culture to increase the competitiveness of the organization. In order to remain competitive, an organization must constantly evaluate its values and practices in order to ensure that they are aligned with its strategy. A cultural audit can be used to measure how well an organization’s behavior matches the values expressed. It can prevent the deterioration of internal and external relations necessary to achieve performance.
