The possibility of obtaining high-quality free legal assistance is one of the guarantees of free access to justice. In the Republic of Moldova, since 2008, there has been a system of free legal aid guaranteed by the state, whi-ch, along with other state bodies, is managed by the Union of Lawyers. In the article, the author analyzes the powers of the Union of Lawyers of the Republic of Moldova to manage the state-guaranteed legal aid system and concludes that these powers are mainly aimed at ensuring the production of the required number of high quality legal services. |
