In the present work, the problem of professional training of the staff in the public institutions of the Republic of Moldova is addressed. Professional training has been an important concern for all organizations, realizing that human resources can ensure their competitive advantage. In the conditions of major changes that society is going through, professional training is more than necessary for the public institution to face all internal and external changes and challenges. That's why, in the present work, I analyzed the effort made by the central public authorities to organize the formalized training of the personnel working in the public administration. The information provided by the State Chancellery of the Republic of Moldova, responsible for the formalized training of public administration personnel, served as factual material.
