The way of exemption from penal punishment by its postponement for pregnant women and women, which have children up to 8 years old, presents both practical and theoretical interest. This interest is dictated both by the conditions of punishment application and by deficiencies in the penal legislation in this case. In this article the author describes the evolution of the postponement of the punishment execution institution for pregnant women and women, which have children up to 8 years old, within the Penal Code of Republic of Moldova, and proposes some positive modifications of this Code in the investigation area. |
