In the recent past, there was a mistaken view that the army’s destination was to fight only against the external enemy and did not suppose its participation in internal armed conflicts. At the same time, the analysis of the participation of some contingents of the army in local conflicts has shown with confidence that this is not exactly the case. The army has its place in the force structures of the state in the fight against illegal paramilitary groups, and in the fight against large illegal forces has the decisive role. It is important to note that all actions regarding the army involvement in solving internal problems are of extraordinary nature and should be regulated in detail in the laws of the country. |
