The main reason for the instability of soybean crops is the July-August droughts, common in Moldova. One of the most promising and cost-effective ways to avoid droughts is to shift the soybean sowing dates to an earlier period - the end of March - the beginning of April. The experiment was founded with the aim of more stringent selection for cold resistance. The research material was soybean varieties sown at different times (early sowing date - April 1, optimal sowing date - May 5, late sowing date - May 12). After maturation, a biometric analysis of quantitative traits was carried out. The conducted studies provide information on the nature of the manifestation of the variability of quantitative traits that characterize genotypes that have the desired combination. As a result, it was found that early sowing is possible, since soybean seeds remain viable at low temperatures, and when the temperature rises, the best varieties achieve germination characteristic of optimal conditions. Genotypes have been identified in which the productivity at an early sowing time is higher than at the optimal one. |
