Rezumat

Current paper presents the results of evaluation of maize collection samples based on moisture yield. Cob structure parameters and kernel ripening period served as criteria. As a result of the research, two promising self-pollinated lines were identified that can serve as a source of the desired genes. Identification of toxigenic strains of fungi as well as genotype-conditioned difference in tolerance to fungal pathogens was carried out using molecular methods.
