Inevitably, September marks the transition between two seasons: the end of summer and the beginning of the school year. In 2020 conditions of the pandemic, a new school year brings with it new experiences, new approaches, new teachers, new classmates, new opportunities and new relationships. Although the relationships that the adolescent forms in school with his colleagues are important, we can be surprised about the most significant relationship, in terms of its success and development, is the one that it forms with its teacher. Thus, the teacher is the current mentor, who can help generously the teenager in this situation. Another important aspect in the relationship with the teacher is the parent, who is also a party who pursues certain goals to reach his teenager. And these two relationships between parent and adolescent, adolescent and teacher are managed by another important factor which is the COVID-19 environment: how well the adolescent communicates and collaborates at school and at home, how well is dealing with new tech issues, online assessments, relationship with peers etc., the issues which will be debated in this article. |
