In the Romanian juridical terminology, the process of incorporation of neonims is valorized with the help of the translation loans. The influence of the French juridical system has had a decisive role in the renewal and actualization of the vocabulary in the field of the Romanian law, the Romanian juridical system being largely constructed on the basis of the French system, with inspiration from the Roman code. Although the terms coined within the national language, through domestic means, are to be preferred to borrowed terms, the specialized vocabulary in the Romanian law shows an impressive number of terms coming from the French juridical language. On a synchronic segment (in synchrony), we will consider as terminological neologisms in the field of the Romanian law those lexical units (the terms – simple lexemes, compound lexemes, syntagm-terms) incorporated in the current language, starting with the period from the end of the second world war two until the present times.
