This article presents an overview of road traffic sign detection and recognition (TSDR) using image processing. Moreover, this paper expounds on aspects of image processing of the road signs, which represents our data, and the challenges of detecting and recognizing them. The end goal is to incorporate such a system into a self driving car and, in accordance with the Highway Code of the Republic of Moldova, redress the issues of precision when positioning and visualizing them on the road. |
