Objective of the study: The bibliographic study of scientific publications, which will include data on the study of the chemical composition of Lavandula angustifolia waste, in order to identify areas of application in the manufacture of new drugs. Materials and methods. Scientific papers published in Cochrane, doctoral theses, scientific papers from national and international journals. Synthesis of scientific papers. Results:11 scientific papers have been studied describing the areas of use of the plant Lavandula angustifolia, as well as the description of the chemical compounds that remain unvalidated after the extraction of volatile olives. The active compounds are ursolic and oleanolic triterpene acids, which under the conditions of the Republic of Moldova can be obtained in sufficient quantities from lavender waste. [1]. The biological activity of the ursolic and oleanolic acid synthesis derivatives is often more pronounced than that of the parent compounds, making these compounds attractive objects of study. Currently, studies confirm that ursolic acid has various pharmacological properties, the most recently discovered are antimicrobial, hypoglycemic, vasorelaxant potential and an overweight and hypercholesterolemia fighter [2,3]. Polyphenolic compounds are considered as active principles in the composition of several medicinal plants. Up to now, over 4000 polyphenols have been known and described in the literature, which, although from a chemical point of view are related to the fact that their phenomenon is ubiquitous, are divided into several subgroups. Contemporary researchers attribute an important role to polyphenols, including in the process of combating the installation of liver, cardiovascular pathologies, and against the development of neoplastic cells. All these properties are related to the ability of polyphenols to combat oxidative stress through its antioxidant properties [4-11]. Bibliografie/ Bibliography 1. Liu J.
