A molybdenum(VI) coordination compound with N-isopropylhydroxylamine, [MoO2(i-C3H7NHO)2], was synthesized, and its structure was studied. The main bond lengths and angles in the structure of [MoO2(i-C3H7NHO)2] coincide with those found in the structures of known molybdenum(VI) compounds with N-alkylhydroxylamines [1–3]. A peculiarity of this type of complexes is the bidentate chelate coordination of N-substituted hydroxylamine by molybdenum with the formation of a three-membered O,N-chelate ring. An analogous coordination of N-alkylhydroxylamines is characteristic of uranyl aqua complexes with a similar structure [4].figure[MoO2(i-C3H7NHO)2] [UO2{(CH3)2NO}2(Н2О)2] [4] |
