The investigation of the migration form of metals in the water environment presents scientific and applicative interest for the understanding of the factors affecting the concentration of metals, their reactivity, biological availability and toxicity.
The results of the investigations of migration forms of copper and iron in the waters of the Dniester River on a site located between Naslavcea and Dubasari are presented in this paper. It is shown, that metals are transported through the river basically in suspended form which makes from the total amount in average 65.5 - 86.3% for copper and 74.1 – 99.8% for iron. |
