The article Forming ecological competences – an imperative of time exposes a series of problems connected to environmental problems at the same time suggesting specific strategies that could be used to form ecological competences to students, future teachers of chemistry. In this frame it emphasizes the components of ecological competences and draws our attention on their peculiarities and on the way they could be approached in order to be efficient.
