As there are no satisfactory evaluation criteria and the translation domain tries to affirm itself in this area, the evaluation of translation is a subject in fashion. Delisle states
that the translation domain suffers from lack of assertion and a structure. Because of criteria subjectivity, translation studies are a topic for which it is difficult to create a scheme. Within the university, this deficit is more evident, as teachers responsible for the students’ education in this domain want to assign a scientific basis to it. Translation studies aim a realizing products of quality, of high quality, that is why researchers work in this direction and the result of their work is a great number of publications. |
