In this paper was studied the reaction between tetramethylthiurame disulphide and 6-amino-4-hydroxy-2-naphtalenesulphonic acid, being known that this acid is a very important intermediate in colours industry. The synthesis was performed varying molar ratio between reagents, the reaction time, temperature and solvent used. The N′-(4-hydroxy-2-sulpho-6-naphtalene)-N, N-dimethylthioureea obtained was characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV and 1H-NMR spectroscopy. |
