Rezumat

In this study we want to emphasize, synthetically, several extra-curricular activities through which we refer to various aspects of the religious education today. Among the most relevant extra-curricular activities we would like to mention: concerts, school festivities, icon exhibitions/ decorated eggs, catecheses, pilgrimages, trips with a historical-religious thematic, contests, meditations, religious clubs/meetings. The activities that take place in a non-formal environment have the purpose to perfect the collaboration between the teacher and the students at the end of a learning period, offering to the latter the chance to present both their theoretical knowledge accumulated during formal education, and their skills, abilities and proficiency that they learned and developed within the educational process. They involve the entire psycho-physical nature of the child (intellectually, physically, volitional and emotional), with real formative and aesthetical valences, rendering the child sensitive to the hierarchy of the supreme values of the Christian moral: Good, Truth and Beauty.
