Rezumat

This work is based on data, collected since 2013 untill 2022 within urbanised areas of the city Chisinau, in the Republic of Moldova. The investigations on this group of amphibians were conducted in the laboratory of Parasitology and Helminthology of the Institute of Zoology of the USM and the identification of above mentioned species was performed by classical deductive methods. The frogs were dissected for complete helminthological analysis by Skrjeabin, 1928. For helminthological studies the amphibians have been captured in 4 water basins. It was established the infestation of green ranida complex (Pelophylax ridibundus, P. lessonae, P. esculentus) by 14 helminth species that belong to 3 classes (Trematoda – 9 species, Secernentea – 4 species and Palaeacanthocephala – 1 species), 3 orders, 6 families and 13 genera. It was revealed that the infestation level with helminths of frogs (Pelophylax ridibundus, Pelophylax lessonae, Pelophylax esculentus) depends on basins, on helminths species as well as on host species and by successive climate changes. In species Pelophylax ridibundus the infestation with 14 helminth species was registered; in Pelophylax lessonae – with 12 species and in Pelophylax esculentus – with 8 helminth species.
