Over time, the house, the practices and customs related to it, were part of the main elements of traditional material and immaterial culture. The authors of the article come up with practical solutions for tourism capitalization of one of the segments of intangible heritage – superstitions, techniques and customs related to the construction of the house in the Republic of Moldova.Analyzing the main semantic parts of the traditional house, the practices and customs related to it, various ways of using the house-related heritage in tourism practice are proposed. Using the multidisciplinary approach, the authors propose the following variants of capitalization: the composition of theatrical scenes based on the creation related to the “building sacrifi ce” and customs related to construction; the inclusion in the thematic routes of some information about the construction and terminology of the traditional house; ways to complete the museum fund with thematic elements, organizing the Builders’ Fair, etc. The perception of the traditional house as part of the intangible cultural heritage is a defi nitive one for safeguarding the traditions related to this phenomenon.
