Rezumat

In the paper, there are examined postage stamps depicting three national traditions that entered the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage: 1) Men’s group Colindat. Christmas-time ritual; 2) Traditional wall-carpet craftsmanship; 3) Mărţişor, cultural practice associated to the 1st of March. There are considered small-size images, produced by “Poşta Moldovei” [Moldavian Post] in 1992–2016. The author introduces to an international audience both the body of the internationally recognized Moldavian cultural appearances and the peculiarities of their depiction on the stamps of outstanding aesthetical value. There is provided data on the main types of interacting of the small-size appearances and the artistic ideas implemented on the Moldavian stamps given certain subjects. There is also offered brief informations on the remarkable Moldavian artists who authored stamp illustrations, on the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.
