В статье рассматриваются художественные особенности образа Дуси – главной героини пьесы Л. Улицкой «Семеро святых из деревни Брюхо». Данный персонаж сопоставляется с прототипом – мученицей Евдокией – с тем, чтобы выявить как прямые заимствования, так и трансформации, позволяющие автору создавать индивидуализированный образ героини пьесы. В равной степени внимание привлекают как доминанты портрета, житейский обиход, поведенческие модели, так и система ценностей религиозной картины мира.

The present article considers the artistic features of Dusea’s image – the main character of the play “Seven Saints from the Bryuho Village” by L. Ulitskaya. The character is compared with her prototype - the martyr Evdokia – in order to identify both direct borrowings used by the author and the transformations that allow the author to create an individualized image of the protagonist of the play. Attention is drawn not only to the dominants of the portrait, the lifestyle, behaviours, but also to the value system of the religious picture of the world.

Prezentul articol analizează caracteristicile artistice ale imaginii lui Dusea – personajul principal al piesei „Șapte sfinți din satul Bryuho” de L. Ulitskaya. Acest personaj este comparat cu prototipul – martira Evdokia – pentru a identifica atât împrumuturile directe folosite de autor, cât și transformările care permit crearea unei imagini personalizate a eroinei piesei. Se atrage atenția asupra dominantelor portretului, a modului de viață, a modelelor de comportament și a sistemului de valori al tabloului religios al lumii.
