| Rezumat | ||||||
The article deals with colour idioms that create the linguistic idiomatic view of the world of Russian and English languages as well as with aspects of language consciousness of representatives of different cultures. The article presents a comparative analysis of English and Russian colour idioms that gives a possibility to identify a system of values required for the research of cultural differences as well as uniqueness of mentality and outlook of English and Russian people. Special attention is paid to the general and specific features of “black” as a part of the linguistic idiomatic view of the world of English and Russian languages. |
