Rezumat | ||||||
In this work, we studied the effect of liquid nitrogen storage on seed viability of Ligularia sibirica (L.) Cass. seeds. After using pretreatment solutions and storage in liquid nitrogen for 24 hours, seeds were retrieved and their viability was determined by different methods: fluorescence test, the Larkon test and germination test. Control and cryopreserved seeds both displayed 100% germination. |
