The role of S and T in a knowledge based society is crucial. The responsibility of science in relation with the society represents an essential element of science communication process. In this way, evaluating research is important both, for the society and for the scientific community itself. Evaluation should be seen as a prerequisite for setting up future scientific priorities and as a basis for development. |
