Rezumat | ||||||
The study Philip Moldoveanul’s Eastern Carpathian perspective revives the personality and work of Filip Moldoveanul (? -1554/1555), and based on the earlier researches his biography is readjusted, focused on his Moldovan origin, his supposedly Western academic formation, as well as his printing activity in Sibiu. New facts and nuances are objectifi ed regarding his printouts and especially about the fi rst Romanian translation of the Gospel and its infl uence on Romanian culture, are described the three printings of Philip Moldoveanul made during 1544-1553 and clarifi cations are made to the movement and copies available up to date. |
