Rezumat

In the present article the author makes an attempt to find out the basic principles laying on the basis of public TV broadcaster activity, the main principles of the program offer specific to this type of television, adjusted to realities of the public TV Moldova 1. Also one emphasizes the necessity to establish the strategic plan that would contain directions of institution’s development, its mission and place in the Moldovan media landscape. A model of the editorial policy is proposed that can be promoted by the Public TV Moldova 1 especially mentioning the importance of dissemination of general educational values, active involvement in the problems of the society, protection of the national cultural values, as well as broadcasting the best European and world TV cultural programs, program exchange that would bring to the enrichment of both parts involved. The concrete advices are offered to improve TV Moldova 1 programming according to requirements of foreign pubic broadcasters.
