The subject of the homeland occupies the huge place in Anna Akhmatova's lyrics. The poem "I shall not side with those deserting" is about native land, patriotism, about the tragic fate of a man, going through a difficult moments with native country. This poem is about some people who had emigrated and left their land, and some people do not emigrated from his native country and divided the bitter lot of their nation. And some people who do not emigrated. |
