Rezumat

Is Christianity a philosophy or not? Giving ourselves this question, do we imagine God or Plato? When trying to answer this question do we bring arguments related to Christianity or philosophy? We ask ourselves these, usually when we encounter the definition of “Christian philosophy”. Big philosophers, both those that accepted God in their lives and those that opposed Him, admit that there is a “Christian philosophy”, but it must be understood in the way that priests of Oriental Churches did. Thus, the religion preached by Jesus Christ is not just a multitude of ideas and definitions, but eternal truths, which we learn, studying the holy books. From Aristotle we find out that the supreme science, the philosophy, is engaged in the first causes and principles. In addition, from Heidegger we discover that the philosophy is dealing with the first causes and principles: emergence of the world, humanity, animal and vegetal world etc. Christianity is offering answers to these questions, having at the foundation the main law of Christianity, Love. But, how did we reach this definition of Christian philosophy and what were the main events that lead to the creation of these ideas? These are events from the life of Jesus Christ: the birth, the wonders, the death and of course the rebirth of Jesus Christ, the son of the living God.
