The current approach of the medical text is the part of the debates on the techniques and methods of promotion of science in the society. The field of medecine is a priority in this period of expansion in the modern society of the news about health. The epistemological context that allows the definition of medical text is dominated by the increased interest in specialized communication beyond the traditional framework strict of terminological analysis. From the point of view of linguistic and interactive perspectives, the medical text has certain identifying features, such as vocabulary, objectivity, providing acknowledged scientific facts or assumptions verified by experience and specific intertextuality to professional community, based on the promotion of scientific facts. Sometimes theses facts are evident but complementary. The purpose of this article is to identify the main linguistic features of the medical text within the sociocultural context of making up and comprehension and validated by its cognitive content to improve the argumentative effectiveness of the specialized scientific communication: professional text, teaching text, adapted text. The analysis of the medical texts intends for target audience and allows to delimitate the ways of popularization using style figures, reformulation, meta-language and synonymous substitutions. |
