Rezumat | ||||||
Public-private partnership may issue immediate pressure on the public finances by offering an additional source of capital. Instead, the public sector’s participation in the project can provide important guarantees for private investors, in particular the establishment of a long-term cash flow from public funds and may also incorporate important aspects and social benefits into a project. There is a growing interest on the role of public-private partnership as an instrument of economic policy anti-cyclical, so long as it can be used to stimulate the recovery of the private sector and generate jobs. |
