Winter wheat is staple and valuable grain crop in the republic of Moldova but its production is limited by low nutrients supply. The positive influence of new fertilizer Powergrow applied during vegetation of winter wheat on the content of chlorophyll in plant leaves, and the yield and quality of grain was studied. Foliar nutrition with his new perspective fertilizer contributes to enhancing the productivity of winter wheat grain. It was shown that the application of Powergrow (two foliage treatments) increased wheat productivity of grain by 19% in comparison to unfertilized treatmnet. The application of fertilizer improved the content of gluten and increased nutrients consumption by yield of winter wheat. Hence, we concluded that the application of Powergrow fertilizer could be efficient biotechnological approach to enhance the yield and quality of winter wheat. |
