An essential problem is the development of new nanotechnologies for mitigation the onset of side effects caused by the use of ionizing radiation therapy of patients with different types of cancer. The analysis of scientifi c results published in the last 10 years on the study of the infl uence on secondary metabolites: essential oils and aromatic plant extracts, on the resistance/sensitivity of the human body to the action of ionizing radiation are presented in this paper. |
