Dietary supplements, usually presented as a complex of vitamins, minerals, protein, creatine and other components “ergogenic” designed to improve physical and mental performance and quality of life. In recent years the number of people who use this form of nutrition is growing further, but the effectiveness and safety of these products often remain questionable, but concomitant administration of dietary supplements and some drugs can be harmful. It is therefore important to consult a doctor when using dietary supplements, especially when combined with use of drugs for avoiding adverse effects and potentially dangerous interactions |
